What is maximum suction depth? |

The pump will operate down to 7.2 meters; however there will be a greatly reduced flow.

Will the pump run without a battery? |
|
|
We make a ‘stripped down pump’ that has minimum parts, no battery, no starter motor, no exhaust primer (we fit a hand primer). The pump is much lighter and still operates to the full specification.

Why does the pump seize? |
|
|
Because the pump has been run without water in the volute, water acts as lubrication for the shaft seal.
Never run the pump for more than 30 seconds without water.
