Prima UV SmartCAFS from Godiva

Godiva, the world leading fire pump manufacturer, are now offering the latest version of their Prima SmartCAFS – a rear or midship mounted pump with integrated compressed air foam system (CAFS) - with UV SmartCAFS control module. The UV SmartCAFS is a state of art electronic display and control software for the compressed air foam discharge of the pump. The display features user-friendly icons for quick and easy understanding of the system status, plain text warnings and on-screen calibration tutorials. Diagnostics and system schematics are also incorporated. The CAFS discharge can be discretely adjusted between extremely wet 1:3 to extremely dry 1:20, and up to ten pre-set configurations are available.

The Prima UV SmartCAFS is a compact package designed for rear mount pump apparatus and is available for all pumps in the Prima range – 2010, 3010. 4010, 6010, single or twin pressure output. The rear mount option provides unmatched pump operator situational awareness and allows full view of both sides of the vehicle.

There is a choice of air flow volumes - 50, 100, or 200 SCFM (in metric terms - 1440 l/min, 2880 l/min, 5760 l/min) twin-screw rotary air compressors provides knockdown power to match the pump.

The whole system is fully integrated and fully tested to ensure quality, trouble-free operation with full compliance to EN 16327. The simplified operation allows changes to the CAFS consistency that is available at the push of a button.

There is also the option to add the SmartGOV UltraView controller to the pump panel. Using the same UV700 module as the UV SmartCAFS, this system provides precise control of the pump speed and display of the key output data - low pressure, high pressure, vacuum readings along with various vehicle status readings e.g. engine speed, coolant temperature, oil pressure, battery voltage and pump run hours. Like the UV SmartCAFS selection of pre-set engine control modes is possible with one touch of a button.
